At Atelier85 Antiques, we specialize in unique and often one-of-a-kind vintage and antique pieces. Because of the nature of these items, our return policy is designed to be clear, fair, and protective for both parties.
General Return Policy
Returns are accepted within 10 days of delivery, subject to the conditions outlined below.
- The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Returned items must be packed securely and shipped with full insurance for their purchase value.
- Items must be returned in the same condition as received.
We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Condition & “As Is” Sales
All items are sold as is.
We make every effort to describe each piece accurately and provide detailed photographs showing condition, wear, and character consistent with age. These items are not new and may show signs of use.
By purchasing, you acknowledge that:
- You have reviewed all photos and descriptions carefully
- Natural wear, patina, and minor imperfections are expected in antique and vintage items
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and not eligible for return:
- Sale or discounted items
- Items explicitly marked “No Returns”
- Custom, altered, or special-order items
Damages or Issues
Please inspect your item immediately upon delivery.
If there is an issue (damage, discrepancy, or shipping concern), you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt.
Your message must include:
- Order details
- Clear photographs of the item and packaging
Failure to report issues within this timeframe may result in denial of the claim.
Return Approval
All returns require prior authorization.
We reserve the right to approve, deny, or limit returns at our discretion, particularly in cases of:
- Misuse or damage after delivery
- Incomplete or inaccurate return claims
- Failure to follow return instructions
Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected, an approved refund will be issued to the original form of payment.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Any applicable payment processing fees may be deducted where applicable
Sales Tax, Duties & International Orders
All prices exclude sales tax, customs duties, and import fees.

- We are not responsible for delays, fees, or issues related to customs
